Susan Lordi has been creating these beautiful figurative sculptures since 2000 and every year I purchase one to add to my collection. Now friends and family have decided to also start collecting the figurines.
The Willows Tree Figurine - Angel's Embrace seems to be one of the more popular choices, but I believe they are all worth collecting. Expression is conveyed by the slight tilt of the head, a turn of the body, or placement of the hands, and the absence of facial features signify Willow Tree.
These are powerful pieces of art which leave the interpretation of emotions up to the viewer.
